This is a massive, highly detailed, hand colored atlas and plat book in fresh and clean condition. It measures 22 1/2" x 17 1/4" and is bound in original half-leather and gilt printed pebble cloth. It is complete with 25 hinged, double page, canvas backed plat maps plus a double page outline and index map at the front. There is some modest wear to the corners and spine- but in all the condition is exceptional. The atlas weighs 14 pounds. The commercial properties, parks, schools, cemeteries, and important residences are all identified in great detail.
