Burnet, Jacob. NOTES ON THE EARLY SETTLEMENT OF THE NORTH-WESTERN TERRITORY. New York and Cincinnati: D. Appleton & Co.; and Derby, Bradley & Co., 1847. First Edition. 9 ½” x 6 ¼,” complete in 501 pages. There is a bookplate on the verso of the front free endpaper from the library of Mt. St. Mary’s in Cincinnati, and also a small shelf label pasted to the corner of that page. Otherwise, there are no other library marks – and the book has been rebound, with new endpapers, in a modern full brown leather, with gilt-printed black leather spine labels.
