Miss Owenson. THE WILD IRISH GIRL; A NATIONAL TALE. New York: Alsop, et al., 1807. This is the first New York printing of the author’s third novel. 310 pages, 7” x 4 ¼”, half leather and marbled boards. The former owner’s name is written in ink on the front endpages as well as the title page and a small private library sticker is pasted to the front cover. The covers show some rubbing and wear but otherwise this is a complete, sound copy. The contents show some light, intermittent foxing but otherwise are bright and complete. Overall a nice copy of this book.
